I'm a Linux addicit/an open source programmer,interested in R&D activities.Love to work 24x7x366(yes,it's leap year :)) on linux. Spents _lot_ of time in my linux lappy.I love to support open source/Linux activities.In 2008,I got recognition for my open source projects, thanks to FOSS India Awards. My idea at Google's project10tothe100:(submitted on Sep-Oct 2008) Idea is to show ads on website based on user interest rather than just using website content.(I'm a linux guy,but i love cricket or sachin tendulkar,while browsing linux websites If found ads about cricket or sachin , I would check that site through ads.) I have found google implemented similar idea (interest-based advertising in March 2009) through Ads Preferences Manager So mailed enquiring whether -Is it just a coincidence ? or my idea being implemented? - Still Awaiting reply/updates from them. No replies from them yet. Participated in The Power of Ideas and reached stage 2 and presented "Elevator Pitch" but my presentation skills didn't get me to reach the final,where I could have met Investors. Reporting bugs Please send exact error message you are getting and it will be more helpful, if you can send a screenshot of it. And also please provide information about your Linux distro and Kernel versions. You can run the command, uname -a and attach it's output while sending bugs.
